Discover how and why higher education is transforming
Discover how CentraleSupélec's mobile application created new dynamics in the school.
The CentraleSupélec engineering school trains 4200 students, including 3200 engineers per year, spread over 3 campuses in France. CentraleSupélec also has 3 schools abroad (China, India and Morocco) and 5 associated international laboratories. It was essential for the school to help students and visitors find their way around its French campuses, particularly the Paris Saclay campus, which has no less than 105,000 m2 of buildings. The mobile application, which includes an interior mapping system, proved to be the ideal solution to meet this need.
"The objective was to enable our users, students as well as teachers and visitors, to find their way around the 105,000m2 of premises on the Paris-Saclay campus". Henri Despretz, Head of the School Information System
A pocket assistant for students: The mobile application allows students to access their timetable at any time or to locate their classroom in just a few clicks.
Real-time information: Users are automatically notified when there is a change in their timetable. They also directly receive communications and push messages sent by CentraleSupélec.
Centralised digital services: All the services that users need are gathered on the mobile application of CentraleSupélec (news, courses, agenda, notes, financial situation, interior mapping...).
The application, which centralises the school's digital services, was easily integrated into the school's information system and made it more dynamic.
The application makes the transmission of information by the administration more fluid, saving time and giving more flexibility.
The Campass application has become a must for CentraleSupélec students.
